Thank you for using Multiplication Tables ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in our mobile application (the "App"). Your privacy is very important to us, and we have designed our App to be a safe learning environment.

This App is designed to help students learn multiplication tables through audio recitation and voice-based practice.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

We believe in data minimization, which means we only access the data absolutely necessary for the App to function.

We do not require you to create an account or provide any Personally Identifiable Information (PII) such as your name, email address, age, or location to use our App. We do not collect, store, or have access to any personal information about our users.

2. Information We Collect and How We Use It

Our App has two core functions: "Learning" and "Practicing." The information we access is used solely to enable these features.

a) Voice Data (For the "Practice" Feature)

• What we access: When you use the "Practice" feature, the App requests permission to access your device's microphone. It captures your spoken answer to a multiplication question in real-time.
• How we use it: This voice data is processed directly on your device using the built-in, native speech recognition service provided by your mobile operating system (Google's Android). The sole purpose of this processing is to convert your speech into text to check if your answer is correct.
• What we DO NOT do: We do not store, record, save, or transmit your voice recordings to our servers or any third party. The voice data is processed ephemerally (in the moment) and is immediately discarded after the recognition is complete.

b) Anonymous Usage Data

• What we may collect: To help us improve the App, we may collect anonymous, non-personal usage information. This may include data such as which features are used most often, session duration, and crash reports.
• How we use it: This data is aggregated and completely anonymous. It helps us understand how our App is being used so we can fix bugs and improve the overall user experience. This data cannot be used to identify you.

3. Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer any of your information to outside parties.

• Personally Identifiable Information: Since we do not collect any PII, we have none to share.
• Voice Data: As stated above, your voice data is processed on your device and is never shared with us or any other third party.
• Anonymous Usage Data: We may use third-party services like Google Analytics for Firebase to process this anonymous data to help us understand usage patterns. These service providers are bound by their own privacy policies.
